A lead green glazed Hu vase – Han Dynasty - SOLD
With flat base and slender neck rising to a flare dish-shaped mouth, the globular body decorated with horizontal grooves. It is covered in a dark green glaze with some iridescence and there are spur marks to the base. The inside is partly glazed.
Period: Han dynasty (206 BCE-220 CE)
Size: Height 19 cm, Dia at the widest place 15 cm
Condition: Very good condition, some firing flaws and minor chips to the rim
