A small Jun bubble bowl – Song Dynasty
This thinly potted bowl/cup has rounded sides rising to a slightly incurved rim and is supported by a short foot. It is covered overall with an opaque light-blue glaze thinning to mushroom tone on the rim. The unglazed foot ring has fired to a reddish-brown tone. The base has a splash of glaze.
Period: Northern Song – Jin Dynasty (960-1234)
Size: Diameter 7.6 cm, height 4.3 cm, weight 68 g
Condition: Very good condition, minor wear and firing flaws, no cracks or repairs found under UV-light.
