Three Longquan celadon jarlets – Yuan Dynasty
Each of compressed globular shape, one with two handles. the glazes in various shades, all falling short of the foot. Insides are also glazed. These types of jarlets were produced by the Longquan kilns from late Song to early Ming and were widely exported.
Period: Yuan dynasty (1271-1368)
Size: Height 5.8-6.3 cm
Condition: wear and firing flaws. The jarlet with handles has a hairline crack going down from the rim. The two larger ones with glaze degradation.
