Two Longquan celadon jarlets with moulded decoration – Yuan Dynasty
Both with squat, bulbous shape with two loop handles beside the short neck. They were moulded in two sections and luted together at midsection. The shoulders are decorated with a lotus scroll in low relief and a band of lotus petals is molded below. The grayish-white porcelain body is covered with a glossy opaque green glaze except for the flat base.
Period: Yuan dynasty (1271-1368)
Size: Height 6.5-7 cm
Condition: Good condition, wear and minor firing flaws, no cracks or repairs
