A blue and white lidded jar with flower and bird decoration - Ming Dynasty - SOLD
A Ming blue and white porcelain jar, painted in a spontaneous and flowing style typical of the period. The decoration consists of flowers and a bird.
Period: Late Ming
Size: Height 12.5 cm, diameter at the widest place 10 cm
Condition: Crack at the neck ca 15 mm long (see picture). Wear and minor firing impurities. Some sand attached to the footring.
