A Qingbai bowl with carved lotus pattern – Song Dynasty
The bowl has rounded conical sides and a carved pattern of lotus petals on the lower outside. It is covered inside and out with a glaze of blue/green colour with the rim left unglazed. It was probably produced in Jiangxi.
Period: Southern Song dynasty (1127-1279)
Size: Dia. 17.8 cm, height 6 cm
Condition: Good condition, wear and crazing, no visible cracks or repairs.
