A Dehua Blanc de Chine Buddhist lion with incense-stick holder
The lion is seated on a hexagonal pedestal with a forepaw resting on a brocade ball. These lions have been produced in many different versions from late Ming dynasty and onwards. For me, they are very difficult to date. I believe this one dates to 19th Century.
