A Dehua Blanc de Chine tripod censer – Late Ming - SOLD

Of cylindrical shape, raised on three low stepped triangular feet covered overall in an even ivory-white glaze stopping near the unglazed base. The lower inner walls and the bottom also unglazed. With a carved wooden lid.

 

Period: 17th Century

Size: Height 9.2 cm (without lid), diameter 11 cm,

Condition: Thin crack going from the rim to the base, small repair to the rim (see pictures), minor wear, crack too the wooden lid
