A grey pottery impressed cup – Warring States Period
This thinly potted small cup is made from grey, high fired earthenware. It has gently rounded sides, a flat base, and is decorated with an impressed cloth pattern. This type of vessels with impressed decoration has mainly been found in excavations in Zhejiang and Jiangsu.
Period: Warring States Period (475-221 B.C.)
Size: Height 7 cm
Condition: Good condition, tiny nibbles to the rim, no cracks or repairs found under UV-light.
