A small Qingbai conical bowl with moulded decoration – Song/Yuan Dynasty - SOLD
Of a conical shape with a moulded decoration of a S-pattern radiating from the center, which is decorated with a flower. It is covered inside and out with a bluish-white glaze below the unglazed rim.
Period: Southern Song/Yuan dynasty (13/14th Century)
Size: Dia. 12.5 cm, height 4.4 cm
Condition: Good condition, minor wear and crazing, no visible cracks or repairs.
Provenance: From a private Swedish collection. It was part of the exhibition ”Mittens Rike, En unik exposé av 4000 års konst och konsthantverk från Kina, Borås Konstmuseum” in 1985 (No 191), and is illustrated in the catalogue.
